Hever Castle Tulip Celebration with lunch  - Thursday 21st April 2022

The stunning Hever Castle Tulip Celebration, described as “a hidden gem”, is arguably one of the best in Kent. The garden is alive with over fifty different varieties of this springtime favourite, with the Italian Garden playing host to the largest of the tulip planting displays forming a kaleidoscope of colours fanning down towards the Loggia and the lake. The striking blooms continue inside the Castle, with displays by the in-house florist. We enjoy an included two-course lunch and will have time to view the tulips at leisure, or to take part in one of the guided tours with a member of the gardening team (includes 2-course meal, tour, entrance to castle & gardens) Payment in full on booking

Spring Blossoms...Historic Dedham with lunch at the Bull  - Wednesday 27th April 2022

Today’s tour takes us via Bures and Sudbury, to the attractive village of Long Melford, with its magnificent broad High Street, lined with timber framed and Georgian brick houses. We enjoy lunch at the well-respected Bull Hotel, before making our way, via picturesque Monks Eleigh and ancient Hadleigh, to the attractive village of Dedham, in the heart of Constable Country, with its wealth of historic buildings, housing old inns, tearooms and a large art/crafts centre.

Brighton and the Bluebell Steam Railway - Wednesday 4th May 2022

Today’s lovely tour takes us to West Sussex ,where we board the famous Bluebell Steam Railway, Britain’s oldest preserved standard-gauge line, for a nostalgic 11 mile journey, past swathes of beautiful bluebells, to Sheffield Park. From here we make our way to the Regency resort of Brighton, a bustling seaside town with a stunning Royal Pavilion-the seaside palace of Prince Regent George IV, extensive shopping areas-including the chic “Lanes”, a pier, the i360 observation tower and a busy marina. (includes train fare)

Medieval Lavenham with lunch at the Four Horseshoes  - Tuesday 17th May 2022

Today’s tour takes us across country, via Great Horkesley, Nayland and Lavenheath, to beautiful Lavenham, the finest medieval village in England. We have the opportunity to explore this historic, half-timbered, former wool town, before making our way to the pretty village of Thornham Magna where we visit, reputedly, the oldest pub in Suffolk, the Four Horseshoes; a family run 12th Century thatched Inn, as lovely on the inside, as it is strikingly beautiful on the outside. Bressingham Steam Museum & Gardens  - Thursday 26th May 2022

Travel back in time to the age of steam at the unique Bressingham Steam Museum & Gardens. The gardens, beautiful in all seasons, are renowned worldwide for their horticultural excellence, and the steam museum and working railways provide interest for all ages. Additional attractions are the working Victorian carousel, the Dads Army exhibition, with photos, sets, vehicles & original props from the popular TV series, a garden centre and a licensed restaurant (includes admission & rides)
