We have the opportunity to explore this historic, half-timbered, former wool town, before making our way to the pretty village of Thornham Magna where we visit, reputedly, the oldest pub in Suffolk, the Four Horseshoes; a family run 12th Century thatched Inn, as lovely on the inside, as it is strikingly beautiful on the outside.
